Rosalind Fern Sweitzer

ROSE SWEITZER Rose Sweitzer, 89, of Constantine, passed away Aug. 6, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center, following a long illness. She was born to Pauline Davis Beachey and Henry Beachey on Sept. 14, 1927. She is survived by her son Ed (Eileen) Denny; granddaughters Michelle (Jeff) Geske, Janie (Jason)Avila, Lori (Charles) Toles, many more grand and great grandchildren. Stepchildren, Mary Harrison, Becky (Charles) Lay and LaVern Sweitzer, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband LaVern Sweitzer, Sr., one stepson, one step daughter, two sisters and two brothers. She loved the outdoors, her birds and other animals, but her favorite is "Cissie," her Boston terrier. Rose will be greatly missed by all. In keeping with her wishes cremation has been conducted. Private services will take place at a later date in Mottville Cemetery. Arrangements have been trusted to Avink Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to her family c/o Ed Denny.
