Ronald Wayne Merchant

Ronald Wayne Merchant Sr passed away August 18th 2017 born on July 1st 1935 to Charles and Margaret (Bileth) Merchant He married Barbra Jean Town daughter of Lewis and Margaret (Burch) Town on May 23rd 1959, she precedes him in death. He is survived by a son Ron (Carol) Merchant of Lawton. Two grandsons Roy Merchant of Mattawan, Chad Merchant of Paw Paw, a granddaughter Kelli Merchant of Lawton, and four great granddaughters Cammey, Raelyn, Brookelyn and Ellie. Sisters Joyce and Joanne and Vicki. Extended family Kelly, Danny, and Kristy. He was preceded in death by a son Ricky Lynn Merchant brothers Douglas Merchant and Richard Merchant. Ron was a Veteran of the Army and served in the Special Forces. Devoted to his family and a friend to many. He will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held September 2 2017 at the Elks Lodge 41861 M-40 Paw Paw Michigan from 1pm to 3pm.
