Raylan Eugene Cubic

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce the passing of our precious son, Raylan Eugene Cubic. Raylan passed away on January 24, 2021 after battling a severe congenital heart defect. Raylan was born on December 28, 2020 to parents Thomas and Rachel Cubic of Vicksburg, Michigan. Raylan faced these challenges with a resilience and fortitude that inspired all who knew his story. Raylan is survived by his parents, his twin sister, Lillian Michaela, and a host of family and other loved ones. Avink Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of our beloved son. A private service will be held. Followed by internment at Harrison Cemetery where Raylan will be laid to rest among family. In lieu of flowers, Raylan’s family asks that donations be given to the family c/o Shirley Mroczek to be used to purchase small comfort items for other children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital where Raylan was lovingly cared for by a dedicated medical team.
