Mary Maxine Gouin

Gouin, Mary M. 12/21/1930 - 4/23/2018 Kalamazoo, Michigan Mary M. (Lyon) Gouin, age 87, died April 23, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born December 21, 1930 in Ludington, Michigan to Horris D. Lyon and Helme (Gustafson) Lyon. Graduate of Ludington High School. Mary was employed at Michigan Bell in Kalamazoo for 35 years, retiring in 1990. She was a life member of the Communication Workers of America Local 4039, Great Lakes Chapter. Married George W. Gouin November 22, 1969 in Kalamazoo. Survived by sons Dennis Lorenz (Alice) and Michael Lorenz (Theresa), granddaughters Jennifer Hippensteel (Steve), Lisa Wolff (Joe), Samantha and McKenzie Lorenz, and great grandsons Thomas and Jacob Hippensteel. Private interment for family members will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
