Lavina Marie Maxam

Janet (Lavina) Marie Maxam, age 71, of Vicksburg, MI passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born in Detroit, MI on December 22, 1948 the daughter of Merle Lybrink and Marie Brown. She was married to Charles Maxam for 50 years, survived by three children, six grandchildren, and two great-grand children. She was appreciated for her artistic creativity and talented craftsmanship, for her loving generosity, and for her playful spirit. Over the years she housed 34 foster children, and more pets than can be recounted. She was a gardener, a collector, a singer, and a really bad driver. She will be remembered and missed.
