Julia S. Sivley

Julia S. Sivley, of Kalamazoo passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the age of 23. Julia was born on August 15, 1995 in South Korea. She is the daughter of Paul and Laurie (Williams) Bushnell. She graduated from Portage Community High School in 2014. After high school she attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College to study criminal justice. It was at Portage Community High School she met her future husband. On May 3, 2016 she was married to Randy Sivley. Julia is survived by her husband, Randy; one son, Koda Sivley; her parents, Paul and Laurie Bushnell; one sister, Virginia Bushnell; paternal grandparents, Allen and Ruth Bushnell; maternal grandma, Kathleen Williams; mother and father-in-law, Marsha (Thomas) Blincoe and Roger Sivley; many aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends; and two beloved dogs: Otto and Sky. Julia is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Donald Williams A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1515 Helen Ave, Portage, MI 49002. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service beginning at 10am. Julia will be buried at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
